As of the 20th of April 2018, three challenging but exciting years later, we are officially graduates with master’s degrees. My topic was Saturated absorption spectroscopy of rubidium and feedback control of LASER frequency for Doppler cooling, supervised by Dr. K. Govender.
Graduation was fun! It brings out that feeling of happiness and relief. Although my doctoral research started before graduation, the ceremony definitely reinforced the fact that I am now at the final leg of my studies; with some extra effort I shall try to keep it to the norm of four years, wish me luck!
